Sessions
Under the sessions tab, you can configure how your sessions will operate in the app. Controling things liks visibility and access.
- Show session time
- Show date heading for track listing
- Show tracks in session listings
- Display session by attendee group
- Display session favs
- Disable session fav removal
Show session time
The show session time option will determine if session times are displayed in the app. Setting this option to 'hide' will hide the session times in the app, both in the session listing an details.
This option is typically used for events that have session with no specific start and end time
Show date heading for track listing
The show date headings in tracks is an option to show or hide the date heading when displaying tracks. When this is set to show, sessions in a track will be broken up into groups by day. If set to hide, the track listing will display the sessions with no date headings.
This option is typically used in conjunction with show session time. When show session time is set to hide and show date heading is set to hide it will create a more uniform look and feel for free-flowing sessions
Show tracks in session listings
The show tracks in session listing options allows you to control if sessions associated with a tracks should show in the main session agenda or session listing. If this option is set to hide, only sessions with no track will be listed in the main listing.
This can be helpful if you wish to have a stronger segmentation of sessions, where only general sessions display in the main listing, while other sessions must be accessed through the tracks listing.
Display session by attendee group
The display session by attendee group option allows you to control who can see sessions in the app. When set to 'yes' only sessions that are associated with the attendee group will be visible to attendees in that group.
When this option is set to yes, and a session has a group access associated with it, only those attendees will see the session If a session does not have a group access associated with it, all attendees will be able to see that session.
Display session favs
When this option is set to yes, only sessions that have been added to an attendees 'favs' will be displayed in the app. If not set, all session will be displayed.
This option can be useful if each attendee has a 'pre-defined' schedule of sessions they wish to attend. Utilizing this option will only allow attendees to see sessions that are part of their favs.
Disable session fav removal
When this option is set to 'Yes', an attendee will not be able to ADD or REMOVE a session from their fav items.
This option can be useful if sessions have been pre-defined for an attendee, ensuring they can only view session associated with their profile
